Hotham 5.5 is LUST’s most popular and well-known trip.

Departing early Sunday morning from La Trobe (Bundoora) you’ll join fellow LUSTies for the journey up to Mount Hotham. The afternoon on the Sunday is included on your lift pass and allows you access to the whole mountain, giving you time for an afternoon cruise. If you’re new to the snow never fear, LUST will help you get on your feet with an initial mini-lesson from fellow LUSTies. Monday morning the professional lessons start at Hotham Snow Sports School. These sessions are highly recommended and a lot of fun, plus they’re included on your lift pass. Lessons also run in the afternoon every day, so if you’re still seedy from the night before there isn’t any excuse not to go! 

There are plenty of activities to keep you entertained after the lifts stop turning. Monday and Wednesday nights are the big themed party nights. Every year LUSTies take over The General Store (The Genny) to show the mountain what we’re made of. With shows from the notorious DJ Eddy you’ll be sure to be dancing the night away and having a great time. 
This trip is possibly the most fun you will have whilst at uni, you’ll get to spend 5.5 days being completely carefree with some of the best people you could meet.
